Videos Of Our Work

Video footage of how our 11 teams handle the capital’s most challenging tree work safely, efficiently, and professionally.

See Exactly Who You Are Hiring

In an industry full of cowboys, we believe in total transparency. We don’t just tell you we are good; we show you. Over the last 15 years, we have documented hundreds of our jobs across London, capturing everything from routine hedge trimming to massive crane-assisted tree removals.

These videos give you a behind-the-scenes look at how a professional arboricultural company operates. You will see our modern, LEZ-compliant fleet arriving on site, our NPTC-qualified climbers navigating complex canopies, and, perhaps most importantly, the meticulous cleanup operation once the branches are down. When you hire London Tree Surgeons, this is the standard of work you can expect on your property.

Crane-Assisted Tree Removal

Dismantling a Dangerous Poplar Over a House in Chelsea: Sometimes, traditional climbing isn’t enough. When a tree is compromised or located in a position where dropping timber is too risky, we bring in the heavy artillery. This video demonstrates a complex crane removal where we lifted a 4-tonne tree over a residential property.

Notice the communication between the climber and the crane operator. This level of coordination requires high-level training and experience. We carry £10 million in Public and Employers’ Liability insurance precisely for operations like this. It allows us to undertake the high-risk jobs that other companies walk away from, ensuring your property remains safe while we handle the heavy lifting.

Technical Pruning & Maintenance

The Art of the Crown Reduction Description: Pruning a tree isn’t just about hacking off branches; it is about biology. In this video, watch our Lead Climber perform a 30% crown reduction on a large London Plane tree. You will see how they select specific growth points to cut back to, ensuring the tree retains a natural, balanced shape rather than looking butchered. This adherence to BS3998 standards ensures the tree heals quickly and continues to thrive in its urban environment.

Precision Hedge Trimming Description: Getting a hedge perfectly straight requires a steady hand and a lot of patience. Here, our team tackles a massive Conifer boundary hedge. Watch how we set up platforms to reach the top safely and use ground sheets to catch the clippings before they even touch the grass. The result is a crisp, sharp finish that instantly transforms the garden.

Machinery & Stump Grinding

Narrow Access Stump Grinding: One of the most common questions we get is, “Can you get that machine through my house?” The answer is usually yes. In this video, we show our narrow-access stump grinder being maneuvered through a standard terraced hallway to reach a back garden.

Once in place, you can see the machine turning a solid tree stump into mulch in minutes. We grind down to up to 300mm below ground level, destroying the root ball and leaving the ground ready for replanting or turfing. It is a noisy, dusty job, but as the video shows, we use guards and screens to contain the debris and protect your windows.

Time-Lapse Projects

Full Site Clearance Time-Lapse: There is something satisfying about watching a jungle turned into a blank canvas. This time-lapse captures a full day of work compressed into two minutes. You can see the arrival of our team, the systematic dismantling of multiple trees, and the constant flow of brash into the wood chipper.
